How to make a fake Instagram story

Add a photo
Tap "Photo" on the first message. It is cropped to a 9:16 phone screen and never leaves your browser. Without a photo the story gets an Instagram-style gradient.

Write the text and stickers
Every message becomes a bold text block on the story, in order. Add a "Date / notice" line for a tilted sticker, such as a place or a date. Set the time ("2h") on the first message.

Download the PNG
Save the story as a PNG at 2x or 3x. No watermark.

Your photo fills the 9:16 screen, with the progress bar, status bar and close button on top.
Highlighted text
Bold text on white boxes, centred like the Classic text style with a background.
Username and verified badge
Round avatar, username, the blue badge and how long ago it was posted. Set the handle under People.
Your own story or a friend's
Post it as yourself and fill in Views to show the eye icon, the count and "Activity". A friend's story ends in the "Send message" bar.
