How to make a fake iMessage conversation

    Open the studio

    iMessage is already selected. A sample chat is ready to edit.

    Write the texts

    Add messages from either side, change the contact name and times, and mark your last message as delivered or read.

    Pick the phone screen or the whole chat at 2x or 3x and download. Free, no watermark.

What you can change

  • Blue and grey bubbles

    Your messages in blue on the right, theirs in grey on the left, with tails on the last bubble of each run.

  • Read and Delivered

    "Delivered" or "Read" with a time under your newest message, just like on an iPhone.

  • Group chats

    Add people and name the group; each message shows the sender's name and initials.

  • Light and dark mode

    Switch themes with one click to match any iPhone screenshot.

  • Header and status bar

    Contact or group name, the "Today" time header, clock and battery level.

Is the fake iMessage generator free?
Yes. Writing the conversation and downloading the PNG are free, with no watermark and no account.
Can I make an iMessage group chat?
Yes. Turn on group chat in the People tab, add members and give the group a name.
Can I show "Read" or "Delivered"?
Yes. Set the status of your newest message. Turn off read receipts to show "Delivered" only.
Do I need an iPhone?
No. The studio works in any browser, on Android, Windows or Mac, and on a phone.
Is this connected to Apple or iMessage?
No. It is an independent tool that draws iMessage-style mock-ups. Nothing is sent and no Apple ID is needed.
