How to make a TikTok profile mockup that looks real
Published 1 November 2026
Before anyone follows a brand on TikTok, they open its profile and judge it in a second. Here is how to build a convincing TikTok profile mockup for a client pitch, a creator media kit, an app demo or a lesson, and the small details that give a staged one away.
What you need
A name, a @username, a two-line bio, a profile picture and a few tall images to use as video covers. Fakeconvo's TikTok profile generator draws the whole profile page in the TikTok style, is free, needs no account and puts no watermark on the PNG. Your photos and text stay in your browser.
Five steps to a realistic TikTok profile
- Pick whose profile it is. The first message's "Sender" owns the profile. Under People, type the name shown in the top bar and a "Handle" for the @username under the picture (without one, it is made from the name), tick "Verified badge" for the check, and click the round button before the name to add the profile picture.
- Write the bio. The first message's text is the bio, centered under the buttons; start new lines as you would in the app. Under Settings, "Link in bio" adds a link with a chain icon under it. Leave it empty to hide the line.
- Fill the video grid. Under the first message, click "Photo" and pick up to 10 images: each one becomes a tall 3:4 cover with a play icon, three to a row.
- Set the counts. Under Settings, type "Following", "Followers" and "Likes" exactly as TikTok shows them, like "183", "12.4K" and "86.2K". A field you leave empty shows 0.
- Choose your view and export. Someone else's profile shows the red "Follow" button, "Message" and an add-friend button, as a visitor sees it. Set the bio's "Sender" to yourself (me) and you get "Edit profile" and "Share profile" instead. Switch "Dark mode" if you like, set the "Status bar time" and battery, then download the PNG at 2x or 3x.
Details that make a profile look staged
The numbers have to fit together. On TikTok, Likes are usually many times Followers: a bakery with 12.4K followers and 86.2K likes looks normal, while equal numbers, round numbers like 10,000, or a million followers with a handful of videos look typed in. Use the app's short format (12.4K, 1.2M), not 12,400, and tick "Verified badge" only for brands and public figures.
Real TikTok grids are tall covers with big, readable text in the middle, often in the same font and colours, so the grid looks like one account. Wide photos lose their sides in the 3:4 tiles. Keep the bio to two or three short lines with an emoji and a call to action; TikTok bios are shorter than Instagram ones.
Same brand on Instagram
Most brands want both profiles side by side. On the TikTok profile generator page, pick Instagram profile above the editor: the bio, photos, name and counts stay as they are, and you get posts, followers and following, story highlights and the Instagram grid. Download one PNG from each look.
Use it the right way
TikTok profile mockups are for client pitches, creator media kits, content plans, app demos and lessons, such as showing a class how a copycat account pretends to be a creator. Do not copy a real person's or brand's profile to pass yourself off as them, do not make a profile that looks like proof of something that never happened, and do not use one to scam, bully or embarrass anyone. Our acceptable use page has the details.
